I ordered a Dish bundle, cable, Internet and land line phone a week ago online on a chat. As the chat progressed, I signed and agreed to terms, and at the end of a very long chat, I was told that they did not carry a landline in our area, and today, I received the agreement in an email, which locks me in to them raising the price of the special at anytime they choose to, regardless of the package I agreed to.

The sales person at anytime during the chat, could have disclosed that we wouldn't be able to have a landline, but chose to wait until all was signed and agreed to before doing so. Now today, the agreement says I must have a Dish phone number to have their DSL, or it looks like I'll have to pay a higher price for the Internet to stand alone - we have a phone jack, but no number - this whole experience has been exasperating!

So far I've spoken to two reps, and the third one they transferred me to, never responded - I was on hold for approximately twenty minutes, but suspected from the "dead" sounding line, that no one was going to respond.

We have no choice on cable, but when this two year agreement is done, or another cable company comes in here, we'll pay the penalty to leave this deceptive company...
